I was afraid it would be too powerful to start off at 8. Incidentally, all upgrade prices are way too low for something that you get and keep forever. They’ll be increased in some future update.

How the lightning fryer’s new chain mechanic actually works? It seems that it works only if the targets are really near and you don’t fire manually.
And it doesn’t always work (especially in zoomed-out waves)

I like how the settings keep resetting every single time, including enabling Satellite Auto-Fire by default, which really pisses me off…so try as much as possible to make it so the settings set up in the previous version don’t get reset.

Also, I’ve discovered that the Apple Core is far too weak against the Absolver Beam and I was thinking of either making it its strength or increase its health.

same, i don’t know why.

Because the apple core has a lot less health compared to other bosses. And I think it’s fair, considering it has a lot of scenarios it’s not good for, too

I understand the pricing of the UP, NG and AB, but why is Positron Stream more expensive than every weapon besides those when it’s extremely weak? (Unless damage output has greatly increased)

@InterAction_studios there’s a mistake where you can sell the gravity nullifier and heat shield and also em shield. could you please tell me why i am allowed to sell them while on a inferno & at the same time, electric planet?

Because maintaining compatibility is a burden. This will be fixed once Early Access ends.

Weapon pricing is generally broken. Once balancing is complete, I’ll look into assigning reasonable prices.

Because I can’t be bothered to do special checks about this. This was also mentioned a long time ago, I think. Won’t fix.

dang it, but nevermind, i’ll live with it.

I haven’t come across any cases where “it doesn’t work”. Send a video and I will investigate. Things to keep in mind:

  1. Distance to first target is infinite (as it was before). There’s a limit to how far it can chain to subsequent targets, however (the limit is about half the unzoomed screen’s width).
  2. It only works with automatic fire (intentional).
  3. Selecting subsequent targets for chaining is not random – it’s precisely calculated. Think of it as the beam bouncing off the target. So where you hit a target matters. Consequence: The more spread out the enemies are, the harder it is to chain (intentional).

Thanks for the explanation.

Sadly I can’t share any video since my pc can’t record videos at a decent quality (I’m not a computer expert but I think that my pc’s records can’t reach more than 2fps, tried everything but the results are all the same).

Anyway I think that my problems were just caused by ingnorance over the new mechanics. Now that I have read it, It seems everything is working as intended.
