This wave could be fine if the chicken’s dropping speed doesn’t ruining it. Even on easy difficult, using spread weapon on this is absolutely not recommended.

Just slow those chicken down and this should be fine.

what is this exactlly? …an invasion with all the waves that are not present in any Episode!!! thats why I used “old” same think for the bosses!!!
the lenght of this kind of missions 2 stages will be enough in my opinion just to make same difference between chicken invasion\dark,

hey @InterAction_studios is this normal?

I noticed that apparently capture mouse (or Raw Input Buffer in another term) creates imperfections in my mouse movement

this is my space-craft movement with “capture mouse” off, notice how it looks silky and smooth?

this is what my space-craft movement looks like with “capture mouse” on, and it’s showing that there’s a lot of imperfections on those ghosting effect
I have tried with different mouses to see if perhaps it’s a peripheral issue, I still have the same problem
I know this is probably something that’s better not pointing out bcs it’s not something that everyone complains everyday, but sometimes I do die randomly due to the sensitivity inaccuracy hehe

Making the gear a valid target would be worse, because then all projectiles would head for that instead of the enemies.

You can still guide the projectiles to the gear by placing your spacecraft appropriately.

I want to keep at least some waves exclusive to the Episodes.

You mean why they were remade? I don’t remember, but probably because the original CI3 engine was too old to copy the old waves directly.

Episodes still haven’t been updated. Expect this within the next few days.

Killing all enemies quickly would detract from the “flushing” effect, which is the whole point of this wave.

On the other hand, a spread weapon would allow you to kill some enemies wihout unplugging the barrier.

Yes, this is expected. Turn capture off for smoother movement.

That’s the thing – it’s not Raw Input. Microsoft recommends against using DirectInput these days, so capturing is implemented by warping the mouse cursor continuously to the center of the screen. But due to how Windows handles mouse input events, you get these small imperfections.

If i try to remake some waves from CI3 and then suggest them as the idea about new waves, will you have a look into them? I know that many people remind this in different topic, but i can understand how CI3 waves be important for you, so you want to keep them as exclusive. They just look like… the best waves you made ever (i think).

I don’t follow. Aren’t all CI3 waves already remade for Episode 3?

And bosses, and in this case since they are not so many, I think that it sound be cool to use evan the specificones like bossa nova!!! And others!

Eh, no. I don’t mean that. What you said is remade CI3 waves to add them to Episode 3. I mean those CI3 waves when add to CIU, they become something different to their old version. Let me remind you:

  • Close Encounter → Saucer Attack. I guess you added Fester to CIU not only to be the “bullet-attack” variant of Alien, but they are also referred to the UFO from CI3.
  • The reinforcement: When you added this to CIU, you changed completely how the chicken appear from two bottom corner of screen. They move pass through the bottom edge of screen before they move to the behind of another matching group of chickens, while the old version of this wave, chickens move pass through two sides of screen.
  • The chicken “wave” → Zigzag: Two enemies each lines, that’s all, while the old version of this wave is: 1 to 2 to 3 to 4 and then 4 to 3 to 2 to 1.
  • Wave x1, x4 and x7 (“x” means the number of the chapter, example: wave 11 14 17) → “Three strikes and you’re out” and “Treuble Trouble”: One is appear as 4 rows, each rows have 3 different chickens, and the other appear as 8 columns, each columns have 3 different chickens. They’re also remade how those chickens appear.
  • Chicken Square Dancing (The Angles in Ep3) → Area Measurement: This new remade variant also have zoom out, make this wave more comfortable a little to fly.
    That’s all, some CI3 waves when added to CIU, they aren’t almost changed anything much such as Chicken/Partner Acrobatics, Pop till they drop, Chicken Geometry, Terminator Chicken. Except Pop till they drop, which is the specific wave for Balloon Chickens, the others now can have mixtape type of enemies.

There! I just wonder one thing that: If… old waves from CI3 that still not added to CIU as the remade variant like what i mentioned above… is remade to add to CIU… remade like those waves i mentioned above… ,then will it fine or not?

i personally would love-hate this wave were it to be closer to the original. goddamn it costed me a little bit too many lives

Wouldn’t it be awesome if we get more seasonal content like waves? I mean like “Christmas tree wave” “sunny day wave” “pumpkin face wave” “Easter eggs/basket wave” and “turkey wave” but having chickens around.

I wish if we had carnival (circus) content, man I’d have went banana’s with crazy ideas on that.

Well I got more but I don’t think it will be accepted so… I’m just gonna keep it until one day hopefully.

on an unrelated note, shouldn’t ICBM be obsolete in space and be replaced with i don’t know intergalaxial ballistic missile?
