it happens with galactic and heroware stores especially if you try to preview one of the spacecrafts family to purchase and see it’s randomized.
but it will be really nice if you purchase one of the spacecrafts then the paintjob should’ve randomized flawlessly after purchased it the spacecraft you asked for similar way with new accounts had that.

Buttons glow with the same color as for “HUD glow” in your Color Theme. But now I realize this is more of a bug than a feature, so… fixed in v.148.3 Bug

I don’t think this is worthy of reverting. The rules are now different, simply adjust your strategy accordingly.
This is the intended behaviour. ONLY your starting spacecraft is randomized. Spacecraft bought afterwards always come with their stock paintjob.

So, the only way is to randomize the paintjob manually after you purchased an spacecraft, right?
also, can the hardpoints (e.g ghost trail, laser scope, strobe lights, spawn shields) and color themes should have an ability to randomize colors like randomize colors for spacecrafts did?

Detail idea: selecting a customization for a texture should make that texture to flash white for a bit
Applying filter should not display the last 2 buttons (or is it there for convenience?)

Update: Multiplayer color and Shininess Strenght can now be randomized. But uh… why wasn’t Shininess Hue randomized like Shininess Strenght? Although these are the same painting for spaceship’s shininess.

There are only a few things you can customize in those cases, so it’s not worth it.

Textures+sounds are about 1GB, the rest is galaxy & other player data.
If you have problems running out of memory, you can reduce this amount by using loadMode=2
in your CIU.cfg
Because, as a rule, non-white doesn’t look aesthetically pleasing.
v.148 Advance Preview
The official release is very close now, and to (hopefully) catch any last-minute problems, I am providing advance preview builds of the stand-alone and Android versions of the game.
Before you install them, however, read through the following notes:

These are the final builds (exactly the same as will eventually become public), however until the new version is officially released, they will still connect to the BETA server. This means that any progress you make using these versions will eventually be lost.

They will overwrite any existing previous version installation you have.

If you install them but then wish to go back to playing ‘officially’, you must re-install the previous version on top.
Please let me know if you encounter any issues.

I know this is late but I got one last bug to fix , if you switch information overlay while your ship is traveling , it will make the ship invisible till you arrive to the destination
