When I tried to travel from a place to another, changing the map filter from “Explored” to “Heroware” (any other filter, really.) made the ship just disappear. But trying to focus back on your ship makes it reappear. Either the camera was lagging behind, or the ship just disappears.

Confirmed (not sure if it was mentioned in this forum, or if it’s just in my notes).
The reason is that visibility is not correctly calculated for very fast-moving objects. There’s a hack that keeps the spaceship visible during HeroCam, but that hack is deactivated whenever HeroCam ends.
No suitable fix yet.
