CIU version 138 BETA

when where is planetary missions.

The Eta Astropaleace should have freezing effect like regular Frozen CIU mission.
It is Frozen Wasteland according to the story.

Plus, in wave 79, progress meter shows 79,63% (approx.) but there doesn’t have any entites shows up on screen. Bug?

I’ll give this a try later. Is the goal here to put planetary missions into CIU or?

The set up seem faster

selected backgrounds and wave musics don’t work properly but boss musics work for some reason

with halloween forced cutscenes use the correct halloween starfield alongside green ciu starfield

ok i’ve noticed something

after party chicken on wave 30 dies, food can be seen flying upwards. i think the gravitational properties are applied before the next wave begins underwater.

In fact, the entire game are very easy even on SSH.
So I suggest you should apply the damage reduction which had been used on episodes, with some tweaks. I don’t recommend you use the CIU difficulty skill level generator (which spams elites/minibosses enemies) to episodes.

Here’s the example of how the difficulty will looks like in episodes.

  • Tourist: 125% damage ; Projectile speed +0% ; Scoring in-mission -50% ; Extra Life every 500,000 points
  • Rookie: 100% damage ; Projectile speed +0% ; Scoring in-mission +0% ; Extra Life every 1,000,000 points
  • Seasoned: 75% damage ; Projectile speed +5% ; Scoring in-mission +100% (*2 times) ; Extra Life every 2,000,000 points
  • Veteran: 66% damage ; Projectile speed +10% ; Scoring in-mission +300% (*4 times) ; Extra Life every 5,000,000 points
  • Virtuoso: 50% damage ; Projectile speed +20% ; Scoring in-mission +700% (*8 times) ; Extra Life every 10,000,000 points
  • Superstar Hero: 33% damage ; Projectile speed +30% ; Scoring in-mission +1100% (*12 times) ; Extra Life every 15,000,000 points

This all of my 4 videos about 4 special chapters. The only thing i noticed when i played those special chapter is: Sometimes FPS got lower than normal too much time, which makes me annoying for a little.

you could add a poll and see what others think first

looks nicer than seeing the player do crap for damage
