ah yes, the average garena video game experience

quick reminder if you have problems setting up this thing then please tell me and i’ll help you.

also, please do not choose japan that the guide did provide you just only choose an region that where’s is the game available.

Wow!

Oh, that’s not good at all…

“Photosensitivity Warning” what i did saw this game does not have photosensitivity stuff what the heck you’re talking about?

at very least for me.

Yeah, even the brightness of the Thundercluck’s death explosion hardly makes me feel uneasy.

I’ll just lend you all my small set of options I came to after we’ve got youtube and discord banned.

  1. VPN. Pros: obvious option, easy to find. Cons: hard to find a good one, even harder to find a free one, latency, NAT moving sometimes, easy to block.
  2. Personal VPS. Pros: harder to block because nobody would have enough bandwidth to look your personal traffic alone, the rest are VPN’s pros. Cons: paid, requires a lot of research to set up.
  3. WARP (AmneziaWG). Pros: little latency, good encryption → harder to block, doesn’t change the region depending on the setup. Cons: I have no idea how exactly it should be set up, we’ve just came up with a script that uses Cloudflare’s tunnel with a custom encryption key generated on the fly.
  4. DPI messing (zapret, ByeDPI, powertunnel and similar apps). Pros: the quickest option, free, doesn’t mess with IP address. Cons: depending on the app may be a major pain to set up (especially zapret), isn’t universal for mobile phones because android doesn’t work well with this (ByeDPI has an android version though), doesn’t mess with IP address, can theoretically be tracked by the government and blocked if they notice a large amount of weird packages, does not work if DNS can’t resolve the hostname (use DoH if that’s the case), does not work if something is blocked by IP directly (rare nowadays) instead of the deep packet inspection method.
  5. DoH (DNS over HTTPS) alone. Helps with resolving hostnames, doesn’t help if the packets are actually being blocked.

Good luck.

Don’t forget to mention this as well for mobile players if you really want to play the game on your mobile devices after the ban and region restriction.

Switching regions might only help with app stores. If CIU does not explicitly block the Vietnamese traffic, the region change won’t be necessary to connect to the server. My post was about connecting to the game server specifically.

Yeah, that lol i forgot to mention it about the servers before log in to the game.

oh well but still useful to get the game after the region restrict.

You say that but wait you haven’t played multiplayer have you?

That’s where you’ll see photosensitivity warning might have a point

Positron beam hit glow flickers as well

That’s only when you mash the fire button while using positron beam. (accumulator of course)

WHAT

Are you related with vietnamese on this situation?

no but its strange banning this game

That’s because of our govement’s decision, which is very hard to explain.

i hope CIU comes back in 12 hours after ban.
