Well, it was fun while it lasted.
Apparently, new legislation will cause Chicken Invaders to be removed from Vietnam app stores in the near future. Apple has already requested this, Google will probably follow. Uncertain about Steam at this stage.

standalone version still exists
Steam is already banned in Vietnam as they didn’t cooperate to assign in local company to let them manage foreign company (literally no respond from the goverment request). That so, they have never paid taxes.
We technically still can access Steam but have to either change DNS or using VPN.
This came in force in 25/12/2024 but i still be able to play the game. Even that i’m not sure if stand alone version won’t be affected. Let’s just hope that everything is okay

At least for now we can stick with the standalone version. The only problem I’m afraid is we cannot even connect to the game server, if that ever happens.

It’s unfortunate to some vietnamese will gonna be a very upsetting about chicken invaders games,…so far
I’ll be honest, I’ve seen this coming. The moment when Vietnam banned Steam and Roblox (pre-VNG), I knew this game, too, will be inevitably restricted in Vietnam.
Well, despite our love for this game, we had to suffer three thousand greedy knock-offs.
And even if the game somehow is not restricted in Vietnam, they will just block us from accessing anyway.
I am living on DNS Change and occasional VPN as we speak.
