Between this whole trouble situation, me, Knightcap, give you something to say about the whole thing. Post will be long, i hope @InterAction_studios and y’all take a time to read (there are some points that have wrong english issue).
According to the 147 Decree, for what can i understand, a developer must estalish an enterprise in our country (yes, i’m from VN too). More understandable, if a developer want to publish a game in our country, they must have at least one representative to keep and manage the game.
The govement of our country do this because of network sercurity, and the most important thing is: managing time playing for the children. Well, this is another topic, which i don’t want to mention a lot, but i want to say… it’s annoying.
Despite the image that @JustDoIt made like this:
I have to say with you, this will certainly happen. I remember the time when i used to play “Play Together” game, which is being published by VNG. They put “Playing more than 180mins will affect your healthy” text as a hidden text, which player have to see it anywhere anytime. Beside, players have to verify their personal information.
More and more…
Back to the main topic. In this specific case, iA must establish an enterprise in our country, or having at least one Publisher accept to manage your game, and then do anything else (a lot of documents lmao, like: License to provide electronic game services; Application for a certificate of providing electronic game services; Declaration of release of video games; etc. etc. and etc…).
What can i say for now? There are two ways to keep the whole CI in VN:
1- There should have one Publishers find iA by themselves and DM iA to agree on releasing CI in CH Play or App Store (VN only).
2- This is crazy but… if possible, iA can try to find and contact with some random Publishers. If you make a good agreement with a suitable Publishers, that is where the light will be shine once again for fan CI from VN.
That’s what i can understand. If there are somethings wrong, tell me to know it.
For people. Guys, even our games will not be available in VN anymore, but we still can play it. If you are already downloaded CIU from CH Play, you still can find it again in the future even you uninstall the game. I don’t know if this is also happen for iOS or not. Minecraft and PvZ (1,2 and H) was removed because of the same case like this (no publisher in VN manage the game). For newbie in later time, they have to download the APK file (i think iA will give us, we don’t want to find and download from many different website, which will cause more problems to our device) or change the language region (working on iOS user).
PC/Laptop users and also Steam user is still alive. Whenever Steam is still available in VN, Steam users in VN can play CI normally. The only thing i may get the trouble is: How to purchase the DLC/Ep at that time. Newbie in later time will have the same question for buying CHL. When a game is not available in VN anymore, players can’t purchase anything in-game. This will cause iA’s economy a lot, since our game have a lot of VN players.
So… if you are already install CIU at this time, so don’t worry. Just to make sure you’re already buy CHL and DLC/Ep.
I’m done here. I’m very sad when i heard this news, and there are a lot of things i thought about this whole things. Sometimes i felt… this whole new legislation is affected by … parent’s thought about playing the games for children.
