I opened IA website
But, I need to enter your authorization code
The authorization code is only given if you purchased any game from iA website, did you get the games from the website or Steam or CIU?
I could manually issue keys, but it’s complicated (I would need the player’s Steam ID) and there are also some edge case scenarios that I really don’t want to deal with (such as preventing repeated export/import loops from CIU → Episode → CIU → Episode → …), so if you are using Steam, the recommended way is to purchase the Episode separately first, then export to CIU.

wait wait. hang on if you purchase the universe versions of the episode then you will receive the original and the episode on their site for free?
i am curious to ask how this affects on steam as well?
like for example if i did purchased the original (on steam of course you know) for the episode then transfer it to ciu after that ask interaction to give an authorization code to play the originals (and even it’s legacy versions too that they are not on steam)
No, if you purchased it on Steam then you can’t play the iA versions.
oh my gosh, tysm!!!
thankfully i still have ultimate omelette purchased on developer’s site for 7 years now.
time to reclaim the authorization codes for the classic legacy versions!

This is incorrect. Buying an Episode or DLC on Steam does not mean you also get an IA authorization code. IA authorization codes are given only for purchases directly on the IA website.

yikes i thought if you purchase an episode in ciu then you can get the authorization code by asking the developer to get the originals, lol.
nice try, pinanas you did fooled me.
That was a BIG misunderstanding from me.
Sorry, didn’t mean to fool anyone.
I’ve corrected all my previous posts, Sorry for what happened.
Not all people know correctly, so hey… don’t say something too hard like that. Anybody can have mistake, including me.

the “authorization code” sent to you by email after purchasing on IA’s website same as “login credential” on IA’s website and access to download authorized version of the game you already purchased
