Currency is hard-coded. The currency symbol is ā« (let me know if this needs to be changed). The amount following the currency is a number written in the usual way.
You donāt number the months in Thai?! Thereās no support for that ā the month needs to be a number.
I found translation to time format that should be empty such that: āagoā but aomeone else wrote in this translation and every time when I disconnect and connect again the translation returns to be not empty. Is there any way to stay it empty that should be?
If you wish to leave some of these fields empty, then you should enter --EMPTY-- as the translation, exactly as you see it (note that in RTL languages, this will appear as --YTPME--)
Supposing that this game has a ton of people whose English may not be perfect to read instructions given on the website, is the website going to have multiple languages for the convenience? If so, is the community is also going to be involved in translating it?
Letās not forget the fact that Terms of Service and Privacy Policy are very important to be read and (like I mentioned before) some people may struggle with understanding that information. Not to mention that part has to be translated in a serious manner.
Sadly, no. Itās too much work to maintain and, as you correctly pointed out, some of this stuff has legal meaning that needs accurate translations. Given that the āotherā website (interactionstudios.com) has managed to survive for 20+ years and be English-only, I donāt think itās going to matter all that much.
Uh⦠none of the phrases can be blank (except the 4 date-related fields). If you see them as blank, then it just means that they need translating.
Any date fields that were indeed left blank intentionally will be automatically filled in with --EMPTY-- when the v.78 update comes.
What about the gameās description on Steam? It can have descriptions in different languages. Of course, you would have to be sure, that certain translations are correct enough to publish them though.
@InterAction_studios , I am having some problems with the translations. I think itās in regard to time, shown by what is needed in place of the symbols. Can someone help me fix it?
the translation for exploration does not appear at all and I translated it.
the translation for daily login reward does not appear at all and I translated it.
(I am not aware of any other such messages appearing like that, so it is possible. I do remember it working for some short time.)
Read the section titled PLURAL FORMS in the instructions. You have not configured the number of plural forms in your language (the āBā in your screenshot, which you have translated as ā2ā is incorrect)
You mean the Inbox message every time you explore a planet? And what do you mean by ādoes not appear at allā?
This will always appear in English up until v.77, because thereās not enough time to set your language before this message is sent. It might have been fixed in v.78, provided that in your previous session you had selected Bulgarian before exiting.
No, itās hard-coded
You can also search by translated text, not just English.
I donāt know exactly. The translations need to be practically finished first, and preferably also be verified (still thinking about how that can be done)
That works for me in v.77. But it was broken before. Are you sure your screenshot is with v.77+?
The screenshot was taken few minutes before the post while I was going through the translated lines, so yes. It works now, but there is another issue with cases
(Š¾Š±Š»Š°Š“Š°ŃŠµŠ»Šø ŠŠøŃŠµŠ½Š·ŠøŃ ā Š¾Š±Š»Š°Š“Š°ŃŠµŠ»Šø ŠŠøŃензии).Figured out how to rephrase this.
Iām personally attacked by that particular line. Can you make the badge icon not wrap that way?
Ugh, I canāt. Even if that space were non-breaking, the layout engine would still break it up due to the icon
I explained it wrong. It became --EMPTY-- only if there was a translation in there before. If the phrase had not been touched, then it will remain as-is.
