The public demands hodor
squadron assignments are not translated, all the time words stays in English, and I did log out and log in after translation
Mission Codenames will be English. They wonât be changed.
not the mission name, itâs written âexpires inâŚâ and it should be translated
Fixed in v.76
The mission type in brackets in the assignment notification isnât translated:
Also the Chicken Hunter License isnât translated in the Ironman Competition notif (itâs at the end of the message):
These notifications correspond to Inbox messages, and Inbox messages are have text âbaked inâ at the time of their creation. Youâll need to generate new messages to view your changes
Fixed in v.77
Ugh, thatâs a tough one. Thanks, noted.
Am I forced to take this action? In order to play the game ?
Of course not, itâs your choice if you wanna translate the game or not.
Man I prefer English i donât need to translate
And thatâs good. When it comes to translations, the translator shouldnât have the mindset of âEnglish version is always betterâ, it mainly blocks the creativity when it comes to localizing stuff. Just noticed that when seeing âChoiceâ options on some lines. It seems just as translating just for being translated. Some lines do use verbs that are similar to english ones instead of different looking, but more natural-sounding words for that specific language.
Sometimes 1:1 translation is good in some cases, but not always. Just let other people do the thing, that are more passionate about it.
To further this argument, another single-developer game Iâve played (PewPew Live) actually does this for community translations, which brings things very close to whatâs happening here. They also have Pirate Speak.
And if the argument is that itâs not professional, well⌠Google has a Pirate Speak option too. It seems to be the go-to joke language for some reason.
LOLcat too
Yeah. I removed it from the list, because it has a very specific legal meaning, and I didnât want translators to get it wrong. In the Terms of Service it is stated that English overrides any translation, anyway.
To everyone: Incidentally, the new version (and each new version) might have new phrases that need translating â check the phrase list after each update.
@InterAction_studios While translating the game I found out that one of the translation choices for Missions won is âاŘاâ Which is an illegal word or it might mean Fuck Thereâs no good meaning for this word and it doesnât match Missions won at all.
@InterAction_studios What about the currency and the date/time format? For example, March 1 equals â1 thĂĄng 3â in Vietnamese, but equals â1 ล฾ŕ¸ŕ¸˛ŕ¸ŕ¸Ąâ in Thai.

I didnât know what that was. I thought it was a keyboard key and I leaved it like in English. So, in Spanish we should put âHaceâ?
