I’m just gonna say in advance that I’m very against the idea of increased drop rate. Adding increased fire drops even if it makes the score lower will make the trophies/medal earning on hardest difficulty way easier. And that’s even if the medal for earning all medals in one mission gets added.
However, decreased drop rate on super star hero is a diabolical idea, but interesting.
I think it would be mentioned in more clear way in such case. Especially when you look at the second post. But let’s wait for clarification from @Flame_Spacecraft first.

One thing I think this rework would benefit from is by adding an CI1’s (truly) Endless Waves mission as an unlockable available only for full version.
if you think about it, CI1 (even its remastered version) is limited in terms of availability. CI2 has borrowed some assets from CI1, so given the nature of its creation, it would be no problem for that game to be included here as some type of extra.
Plus, it would add some value to the full game unlock!
Yes, I know this exists in CIU already, but it is just a simulation and only 120 waves…
Would it be possible to have a high cost unlockable that nullifies the heat bar? This would make it more like how CI2 was originally released, as there was no heat bar at all. The consequence of doing this is that no keys would drop.
What will happen to this endless mode? That mode until all lives are lost and surrendered! Will there be a career record of mission lost/surrendered and victory ratio? After passing the last wave (CIep2 wave 110, CIep3/CIep4/CIep5 wave 120)… Will it appear in a normal wave/boss wave back from the beginning or will it be random like in CIU. Except for CIep1, because each stage will repeat like wave 1-10.
