Yes. I really don’t want to have yet another layer of rewards (especially if those “rewards” are going to be Steam-specific)
That’s a shame. Though they couldn’t be just Steam-specific, the achievements could be in a list in the game. Besides, Google Play Games also acts as an achievement storage of sorts. It would be nice if achievements were added in the future though, would give additional incentive to play.

I’ve fixed the first issue by turning in
's translation from --EMPTY-- to fra (in italian). I’ve left it empty before because I was unsure.
Also iA, is it possible to add a way to place the date after the current time? It would fit in the Italian translation.

Because the ship’s weapon pod positions are placed in such a way where if you shoot juuuuust before something collides into you, it hits. If your hitbox were bigger, however… Perhaps that won’t be possible.
