The engine doesn’t support grouping things and THEN making them transparent as a whole. If I make the gauge (red-green in your picture) transparent then the backdrop (cyan) bleed through.

What is the “main” squadron? There’s no such distinction in the game.
That’s already in. But there’s always a chance you’ll get supernova with a regular environment. That’s ok.

Not easy. Droid missions are not tied into any star system. In fact, droids can travel between star systems (but they currently don’t).

That’s already possible. But only the ‘hard’ loop has enough enemies per group.
