Noticed that disabling this.

 bEnableFontCache=Yes

fixes the problem.

So, make it off by default.

“The Gate” suggestion: barriers can swipe players, means they can eventually die without knowing how the gear affects the barriers. Would be safe if they slide instead of swing

Not necessary.
First, chickens stay quite far from the barrier, so those connectable weapon like Positron or Lightning might not cause so much trouble.

Second, learn to observe first, the gate only switch depend on your own action, not by sth else. So when you intend to switch the gate, just choose a safe spot before you shoot; the gate is short so there’s much more space in the left of the screen. No need to slow it down.

Oh yeah right, when i tested v154.2 this afternoon, i stood too close to “the gate”, just for shooting the enemies easier, and also collecting the food, but my weapon also activate the gear, make it round and punch me :skull:
I also warn you that be careful if you’re using any weapons like Ion Blaster, Corn Shotgun, Poker, v.v… those bullet-expan weapons can hit the gear, while we don’t want to do that.

It is off by default. That’s why I’m asking where your cfg file came from. It could have been upgraded from v.153. Check your 153 folder.

Can we have new Easter skins for other bosses that don’t have within this update?

Every single CIU.cfg file has bEnableFontCache=Yes enabled except for the cfg file at ia/153 which is off.

Edit: The problem is solved, I removed the folders of the previous versions and now fontcache is disabled.

In the wave “Let’s go fly a kite” the barriers doesn’t seem to vanish after all chickens in the formation are killed.

Just found another way to beat Laser Matrix. I didn’t lose any lifes when passing throught the chicks.


Maybe add some barriers at top-left?


I just found out ‘‘the tree of life’’ wave does not have an danger zone on indestructible barriers and new players will be confused this.

since easter is upon us and it got me thinking recently that the easter seasonal skin for superchick needs to have an recolor much like from ultimate omelette easter edition’s promotional art as seen right here.

Enemies appear from the left/right top. It’s not worth adding a danger zone at middle-bottom, it will be similar to the “Hammertime” wave.

in The Gate wave,
The chickens can suddenly “pop” in the screen, i think they should come in from outside the screen more smoothly (just like the gate itself appear).

It’s not a recolor that makes it look that but the fur. If it gets more fur as the picture shown with tiny bit of color changing then it will look like the art (no offense)
