I don’t think protests would do anything to improve the situation, not just because of iA, but also of the community. Frankly, the community could have been so much better than what we have now… the lack of good ideas and being too nitpicky over small stuff just for some ingame medals don’t help eithers qwq

If they don’t, might be that the statements about “wording actually matters” could be true. Well sorry if I’m unfiltered, and that upsets some snowflakes; to you all; if something isn’t a problem to you, it doesn’t mean it is not for others. And actually read the thing instead of deliberatly skipping that and still gain conslusions. But good to see you managed to make my message more digestible; it may or may not work at making people get my point with this call-out.

This also happens to me on desktop like a person shared a lots of pictures in a > and i go a little down and i can’t see anything or if i open all these > in mods section then after 6 or 7 everything dissappears.

The game may have lost its appeal and excitement due to factors such as: the repetition of missions, waves, lack of updates, same universe, no new exciting things, useless DLCs, less activity on the forum compared to the first years, …etc
But that doesn’t mean that the game is bad, The game is such a beautiful game that have a lot of advantages and a lot of fun things you can enjoy it.
tha game is also for free to download and the CHL is not that expensive, also it still gets updates even if they are few, it is an advantage.
A point also to mention: We do not know the condition that IA is going through, what is happening in his life, or what he is thinking, He could have life problems that affect the updates and the work on the game.
At the end I would love to say that IA made a great game and your post is nonsense

Instead of putting our pressure to CIU and anything related to, why don’t you just go somewhere else and find anything fun in real life or something else?
Recently i didn’t play CIU, not because i don’t like CIU anymore. That’s because i have a lot of stuff to do in real life, and a lot of fun that beside our game. This year, i even go on graduation internship, i played a lot of games during 2025 (Minecraft, Deltarune, Battle Cats, etc.).
So my friend, find something else to do, instead of writing this whole thing. I don’t protest what you said, but you should know one thing “Everything always have their time. Nothing is forever.”

Why? Why would I want to delete my 3-6 years worth of progress instead of let it be and come back when I’m in the mood, just to found out that I deleted all of my progress and have to start from scratch? Knowing CIU is very beginner unfriendly?

CIU has been on the decline, yes, but its not iA’s fault, the majority of the players are kids, teenagers and young adults, so traffic will be affected when if its during a holiday or not, other games aren’t immune to this. I haven’t touched CIU for a good few months now, not because I hate it, but because I have better things to do (life, study or not knowing what to do on CIU)

This game was never managed perfectly and I did often complained about that in the past and in recent times.
You had good points to start a perfectly civil and polite conversation: this is a small comunity that shares a passion for a small series of small games and most of us have fond childhood memories of blowing up digital poultry.
You had the opportunity to have the full fanbase have a friendly chat with the developer regarding how we all fell about the game\series is currently handled, but no…
You just had to fuck that up in the worst way possible and killed any politeness.
You are threatening someone’s source of income and basically tell them “do what I say otherwhise die or find another job”.
You fucking told another human being that you don’t value their life, like at all. I can’t pretend to know how InterAction feels or what their past is, but this is more than being disrespectful towards them.
I really hope you are just a kid that is just venting their frustrations in the only way that you could think of.
Regardless of your age, please, do everyone else a favour and grow up.

I have to agree with him here, and @Meowinus as well as a few others here too, I haven’t properly said this earlier but Stardrone is completely right about this.
Yes, the game is falling off as of right now, but that doesn’t mean that you get to say that InterAction isn’t giving any effs to the game or the community; this game isn’t something like Sky Force Reloaded, Minecraft, or even more recently, Roblox, which has almost every reason to get dissed on in 2025. But unlike these games, the Chicken Invaders franchise, including Chicken Invaders Universe, is mostly a solo project. InterAction Studios himself, and maybe a few of his developers. But either way, the team behind this game is putting all of their heart and time that they can into it, and this is their one mean of income.
Yes, criticism and constructive feedback are essential to iA’s efforts to make the game better, and there are a lot of things that this game could benefit from. But honestly, even just how the game is right now, the game is fine itself, at least for people like me. I’m a veteran player and yet I haven’t explored the entire galaxy, nor do I have maxed out equipment, but what matters is that if the game is enjoyable to you, then keep playing it. But if the game gets boring for you, like Madder, it’s fine to give constructive feedback and criticize the game lightly, but making an entire protest against the game and iA himself in this small community is honestly just childish and is just really you saying this.

How would you feel if you worked so hard on making a game for 7 years and just because the game is dwindling a bit, since you have not had time, and you have not added any new features, someone in your forums makes a protest against you and your game?

I am 100% with you but no one is reading all of this, I did and my eyes are dry and my vision has those horizontal crt lines, I made an account and waited a week so I can tell you this, you need a smaller version of this post, and tell that everysingle login matters, because “I am only one person nothing will happen if I joined”

Taubsi’s reply was the ideal rehiteration of my post, that would serve just a good to complement it. I can’t really summarize because I want to make my point clear and express where I come from. So no, I am not gonna limit or filter myself because some people can’t digest all of this, and it’s not my fault if people can’t read walls of texts nowdays. I just throw my message out there because the community seemed to agree, only to discover they’re still too attached to the series and the creator in order not only to see my actual point, but to do anything on the matter. I’m not even advocating for iA to do some crazy things; just better communication with his community, that’s all. In any case take your guess with this point. If that’s where people are heading I don’t have nothing more to stay for anyway, and if things actually do change I would compliment and come back, but rigth now it seems unlikely.

TLDR, some people are upset because iA is not adding new content or meaningful additions to the game, and CIU’s player count is dwindling because there’s not much appeal to this game as much as there was back then. If you enjoy the game, keep playing it and I’m happy for you. If you don’t enjoy it, then don’t take it out on the community or iA, find another game, or at least be reasonable about expressing criticism.
