laser scope is the most useful hardpoint, but its kinda ugly, while the strobe lights are pretty if used correctly, but kinda useless.
maybe allow ghost trail to be shown in galaxy map
Already suggested. I can assure you that your computer will not like drawing many sprites quickly for each on-screen ship.

Yeah, that might just cause the galaxy to have dots and color lines everywhere
Kinda rare to see another ship moving, so i doubt it.
maybe toggle it on and off instead?
