Yup. Each has its own color and brightness, but instead of going with the traditional bright and dark blending, I moved forward to add a multiple color palette mixing. At first the color is muddy, but it becomes clearer for each palette.

I meant this without the perlin noise background but the nebulas themselves have dark spots:

I also thought about a planet generator which may be a good fit with these backgrounds (if we only cropped from the planet are):

The idea of having an app that generates these planets instantly it isn’t new, I thought about it when I was discovering how these planets were made.

I unfortunately wasn’t able to make a whole app that just does this because I didn’t know how to even start with (e.g making the texture a sphere). However I made a text version that just drops randomly generated info. I still think you can do something like this!
