Weird pi is here because in Teko font (even in original) it’s modified, so the game takes it from there. Other characters are being taken from standard system font (most likely Arial).
Are these all the characters you need?

Yeah they sure are, although the rest of the characters in greek look fine. Not as clean as the latin ones but good enough (probably because it’s just Arial), and they are consistent. It’s just π that looks weird, surprisingly.
I might try making Teko versions of these and putting them in the font later.
Let me know if you’ll need help with that
I’ll remove this letter from the font in the next update, so the engine will fall back to Fira Sans for all Greek letters (making them consistent – numbers will still look off, though)
I can’t get directly involved, however to help out I’m linking to the original CI4 Greek (and other) translations to use as a reference. I’ve also added this section to the instructions:
SAMPLE TRANSLATIONS FROM PREVIOUS GAMES
To help with getting started and to use as a reference for consistency (a lot of the phrases are common), here are the CI4 and CI5 translations (note that the translation rules for these games were different, so only use them as guidelines and not as hard-and-fast rules):

Okay this helps a ton, thank you!
Now, as a general rule of thumb, is it better for us to refer to these translations or should we use our own, if we think we got something better (particularly in regards to some of the wordplay)?
ˢᶦᵈᵉⁿᵒᵗᵉ: ᴵ ᵃᵖᵒˡᵒᵍᶦᶻᵉ ᶦᶠ ᴵ’ᵐ ᵐᵃᵏᶦⁿᵍ ᵗᵒᵒ ᵐᵃⁿʸ ʳᵉᵖˡᶦᵉˢ, ⁿᵒᵗ ᵛᵉʳʸ ᵘˢᵉᵈ ᵗᵒ ᶠᵒʳᵘᵐˢ.
If you think something looks better than in episodes’ translation, use the better variant. If other translator won’t be ok with your version they’ll provide their own.
iA, do you happen to have the CI5 Italian one? Just for archivial purposes.
If you think you have a better translation, then by all means use it. Refer to CI4/CI5 only if you get stuck, or if you want to see how a particular wave/weapon/enemy/etc was translated in previous games.
I’ve added more languages to the list. However, Excel files may NOT exactly match the text in the actual game (because they undergo a transformation before the game can use them, and also because translations change constantly and I might have made minor corrections to the game text without updating the Excel).
didn’t know CI4 doesn’t have a balkan translation. Is there a way to change that by chance?
No, I can’t justify any effort to arrange, QA, and integrate new languages.
Also, CI1-CI5 characters are textures, so it’s very painful to add new alphabets/codepages.

You just didn’t count the untranslatable stuff this time, right?
I made some adjustments to keep OCD people happy
The table is already outdated anyway, since v81 has added more new phrases.
snaps fingers
I’m ready for this
Quick bug report: text goes off screen in the fleet customization screen under “Exhaust additive magic”
(Probably only a big issue for the greek language because of how wide the letters are)
hmmm, interesting. BG is 100%.
It’s kind of weird, since I just logged in to translate the new additions. I haven’t done them myself. :Д
I can’t wait to see the satellite tutorial after the fix.
@InterAction_studios is it possible to tell me what was added in this update, so i can double check it? sorry to trouble you, but I can’t find it myself.
Also, is it possible to add a sorting criteria which indexes new text additions? even if they are translated
It’s not complex: new additions need to be tracked until new stuff gets added. the previous text gets unindexed, since it is considered old, therefore it does not appear anymore. If there are no new additions, do nothing (by that I mean nothing gets changed).
It’s gonna be annoying to sift through the entire text base on the off chance I remember i haven’t seen something before.
Fixed in v.81
I don’t keep a history of text changes, so I don’t know.
