I found a translation error on the Galactic Cup screen. This issue occurs at least in the Polish language version of the game.
When opening the help info panel (the purple question mark icon) during the Group Stage, the Polish text states that only the top 2 players advance to the next round, which is incorrect. It should state that the top 4 players advance.
The error is in the specific word used:
The current text uses the word “dwóch” (which means “two” in English).
It should be changed to “czterech” (which means “four” in English).
Current Polish text: “Po odbyciu wszystkich rund, tylko dwóch pierwszych rekrutów przechodzi do kolejnej fazy.”
Correct Polish text: “Po odbyciu wszystkich rund, tylko czterech pierwszych rekrutów przechodzi do kolejnej fazy.”
Interestingly, I noticed that the original English version of this text does not mention any specific number of advancing players at all. It might be a good idea to update the English text as well to explicitly state that four players advance, making it clearer for everyone.
Please check if this error applies to other languages too. I am attaching a screenshot of the issue.
@Piotrek1113 is the official translator, he’s offline currently, in the meantime, you can edit the translation manually. However the correction may appear for you only if it’s not confirmed by the official translator.
This might be a good idea, however it will reset every translation for every language on that phrase, including yours…
Personally, I don’t need the translation because I already know that 4 players advance from each group, but new players might not know this, and the current text is just confusing for them
Hello, that’s right - I am one of the main translators (the other being @matix524). Not sure why we though there are only two winners in this phase. But thank you very much for noticing this! I changed this line and hopefully this will be fixed soon enough. If you find more similar inconsistencies you can let us know in the aformentioned thread!
Hi! An official translator here! (alongside @Piotrek1113)
You’ve got a keen eye! The translation has been corrected and will soon take effect! We apologize for this mistake, sometimes when you proofread the text, some things just slip past your eyes (whoops!)
We won’t let this happen again
