for some reason if you start a new mission that its starting chapter is not pluto and you surrender, your “score” can still be in the hall of shame even if you get no points
also make all difficulties free

not necessary besides not added all difference types of episodes.
Episode 2 = Muller M400 (incompleted OG on M408) , H&C 101, BX-7 (not useful on BX-6) and VF-56
Episode 3 = Muller M400, H&C 201, BX-7 and VF-66
Episode 4 = Muller M404, H&C 301, BX-8 and VF-76
Episode 5 = Mullet M404, H&C 301, BX-9 and VF-76
since it made developer’s idea from future of episodes.
Renaming: “Surrender” should be “End this Run” and “Disconnect” should be “Save for Later”.
This should be removed from Episodes and reserved for CIU DLC only.

Cluuuuuuck… that’s a compiler bug. Fixed in v.2

This complicates the design unnecessarily. What is the benefit of that? Just end your current mission first.
Already done.
1M, 1M, 1.5M, 2M, 2.5M, 3M
Too much hassle.
Already done
The NAT code is the same, so any problem the old games had, CIU also has. Only Steam uses relay servers to get around some connectivity cases.
This was intended, but… fixed in v.2

Eeh… Google “spacecrafts”. There’s only really a single mention of the plural being in this form on the first results page.
They will only be archived if/when the new Episode format becomes available on a given platform. And, right now, the only certain platform is Android.
I’d consider this a new entry, because in the general case it can’t cleanly replace the old games (in terms of the business model specifically).
That’s expected, and it doesn’t mean the game crashed. Upon startup, the previous log is copied to this file regardless.
Looks perfect to me
But seriously, I’ve already moved it around several times now, and it can never be perfect because the food amount could be 1 or 2 digits, pushing the missile icon around.
Intended. It’s a way for a player to see what the spacecraft look like without having to purchase the game first.
Did you change your system date? Generally, I don’t mind even if people “hack it”. It’s a minor perk anyway.
I said the BETA still connects. And the server was down this morning for a few hours ![]()
Hmm… it’s confusing to re-use the same sound for extra lives and stage complete. I’m going to use another sound. Changed in v.2

You can now press Ctrl+K to add 100 keys (only works on screens where your key balance is displayed). Try not to use this from the beginning. First play the game normally and get a feel about how easy it is to earn keys. An important part of the BETA is calibrating prices to reasonable values, and you can’t do that if you use this cheat.

I think I’ve mentioned this in the past, but “capturing” works by constantly warping the mouse cursor to the center of the game window. Due to the broken way Windows deals with mouse events, this can glitch out. For high-level play I’d recommend turning capture off.

hey iA, can you change this to more " more chicken invaders games" or “get more chicken games”, it will be nice to also add the chicken head logo from ci3
the ciu tutorial can drop lightning even when the game is locked
on the topic of extra satellite slots buying them feels pointless when the game is locked since they only ever appear after unlocking

mine bombs should also be locked since they were added in ci3
If you use Special weapons at any time in a Stage, the UFO on the 9th wave won’t appear. That’s intended behavior (if there’s no bugs regarding that).
no animation when switching between customizing options
paratroopers still wear clothes even with naked costumes enabled
i don’t know if this is a me-problem but i’m lagging a lot more frequently than for example ciu, even with the same settings
projectiles are very slow even with SSH
with score modifiers (no missiles…) the points that you get (shown with points HUD) from gifts and firepower aren’t the same with what the score HUD (bonus) says
19200 is from the ion blaster gift

how am i supposed to get this medal? i played with the default settings so i technically had no mountable equipment or satellites

as for weapons, what does automatic even mean here? shouldnt you just have the ion blaster equipped, since its already the default
in fact i think the default options should be already preselected instead of whatever “automatic” is supposed to mean (so ion blaster as the starting weapon and ci2 background)
also these prices seem rather expensive when all of these weapons drop from the first chapter and arent hard to get

this unlockable should just be renamed to “half specials”
if original music is enabled, the cutscene after wave 70 still plays the orchestral music
some grievances related to skill levels
Rookie with Muller: 28 keys

Superstar Hero with H&C and one +20% scoring unlockable: 50 keys

SSH is supposed to boost scoring, but without that scoring unlockable my score would’ve been almost the same as on rookie.
SSH and H&C are supposed to boost the key drop rate, yet I got almost the same amount of keys per hour as on rookie, so in the end the SSH playthrough didn’t pay off
and the amount of keys you get on rookie is very low, a lot of the unlockables cost more than a single run through and if you wanted to get everything, you’d have to play it like 50 times
it doesn’t help that the asteroid chapter doesn’t drop a single key for the duration of it
feature suggestion: at the end of the mission (win, surrender, any result) there should be a cut down version of the mission progress screen from CIU (maybe make it optional just like in CI5?) so that it’s clear how many points, keys and medals you got out of the mission
another suggestion: since medals are useless in this game, there should be key rewards assigned to them, at least for the harder ones like not dying for the entire mission, it would give an incentive to get them
Hmm, the food and coin collecting and bonus sounds (extra life and special weapon, firepower, weapon gifts) are still from CI3, and the egg splat sound is still from CI4.
the original music does not include xmas edition tracks
