What about santa infini-chick? The old version had a red cape.
Should iA teams have plans to add it back?

Can you make that
When using riddler, the spaceship moves but the satellites don’t move, can you make them move.
No, it can’t
Why?
Ignore dive bombers.
That is because the recoil of the riddler weapon, not the spacecraft itself.
Bug ig
This booster is okay when seen like this
Intended. Maybe there should be an option to make the exhaust rotate with the ship?
Hey, sorry. That’s impossible! Because before using the “remove Infini-Chick’s scarf sprite texture in the Christmas edition” feature, his scarf was green, not red. So Santa with a superhero scarf is completely inappropriate, and iA can’t change the scarf color. This could easily affect the “CIU.dat.222x.standard” resource file (it will become an Infini-Chick with a red scarf in non-edition).
Actually, that’s not quite ‘impossible.’ Interaction Studios could easily use Paletted Textures or a simple Color Overlay Shader to change the scarf color dynamically without affecting the base resource file globally.
Also, they can simply define a new Asset ID for the Christmas version instead of overwriting the standard CIU.dat entry. It’s a basic Conditional Rendering logic: If Event == Christmas, load Infini-Chick_RedCape. No need to mess up the standard version
That’s what is happening in the normal game, Both the Super Chicken and Infinity Chicken and even Henperor Apprentice use the same cape animation (which is reused from Iron Chef’s apron).
And then color them using the filter you said, so there are no issues and I think the skin fits better with the cape
Here are the features in version 126. Do you two have anything else to say!?
Listing old features from v.126 doesn’t change the fact that engine limitations are a choice, not a dead end. We’re on v.158 now; if iA wanted to implement a separate sprite for the red cape, they could’ve done it in any minor patch. Resource files are meant to be updated, not set in stone. The point isn’t what’s currently in the files, it’s about what’s technically possible with a simple code tweak. So yeah, the ‘it’s impossible’ argument still doesn’t hold up
Exactly. As mentioned, it’s a design choice, not a technical impossibility. Bringing up v.126 features doesn’t change the fact that the engine can handle it if the devs wanted to. There’s a big difference between ‘they won’t do it’ and ‘they can’t do it’.
Text cannot be copied or pasted in CIU — shortcuts like Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V do not work.
If this could be changed, it would make things much easier, especially for using different fonts, symbols, or emojis in usernames.
Right now, there is no practical way to use emojis or special characters in names, particularly for players on older systems like Windows 7.
Allowing copy-paste support would greatly improve customization and accessibility.
Hey friend, open the game on your phone, and copying and pasting will work.
It should be added to desktops
