A lot of wave tweaks.

:warning: Some recent DNS changes are still propagating. If you can’t connect, wait for 3-4 hours.

You can skip/warp around waves: Press SHIFT+keys 0-9, -, = to set chapter (from 1 to 12), or press 0-9 keys to set wave in chapter (from 1 to 10).

Also, you can press Ctrl+R to re-generate the current wave with a new random seed (won’t work on very first wave). :warning: Do not use this during multiplayer games, because you will desync any players connected to you. This is true even if you press Ctrl+R during some previous single-player mission. Basically, once you press Ctrl+R in any mission, then you must quit and restart the game before playing multiplayer.

You can link your existing account that you normally use. Progress on the BETA server is completely separate from the LIVE server. It’s based on a database snapshot when the previous version was released, so your progress will be rolled back slightly (when compared to your live account). And, when the new version is officially released, any progress you made on the BETA server will be lost. Additionally, any translation changes will also be lost.

Multiplayer games will work, however note that your network connectivity will not be correctly detected by the BETA server (I think it will always say “Port-restricted cone NAT”). If there is a discrepancy between detection and your actual NAT type, then you will not be able to join some multiplayer games (even if they are listed). If the discrepancy lies on the host side, then none of the guests will be able to connect.

So, the background transition looks weird when scrolling background is disabled. what about making the transition background not appear at all when the option is disabled?


Not sure if this is a bug but: If you joined a DLC game while it’s in middle of a cutscene it will show from the beginning instead of in middle.


Idea for beta: Can the teleporting between waves instant when using the wave warping?

Why did this impact the chicken spawning? I want them back (chickens remain the same)

Known. This is an accessibility feature. It’s only meant to be used in specific circumstances, and “looking weird” is an acceptable price to pay.

Yes, but that would make all wave transitions instant. I’d rather not do this, because it tends to hide timing bugs (e.g. like not enough time for the victory music to play).

Any inserted RNG request will de-sync all successive requests. It can’t be helped.

No, balloon chickens are allowed on that wave.
