This phrase (and others like it) is too ambitious, precisely because it tries to incorporate formatting. In retrospect, i should have been split up into individual phrases and the formatting done in-game. It’s a mistake, but to fix I’d have to delete the existing translations
Frankly, I wouldn’t mind, especially since we can export them for use with our preferred spreadsheet editors, copy the relevant substrings into the new translations, and import them back into the game. But what do you guys think?
Sure, split up such phrases into multiple shorter ones
I see , DLC missions do have its own unique icons like that oval shape with CI1 all to CI5 text in it , but is the icon for boot camp gonna stay like that where it’s a chicken icon? I am suggesting a change for the icon of boot camp since it look similar to regular chicken invasion and boss rush icon , maybe changing it to something like infinity shape (can’t find it on my keyboard)
Maybe it is, maybe it isn’t. I’d add a category where the more waves you passed, the higher you’d rank. I’d also change the “Time” category to be similar to the other category I’m proposing for the Bootcamp mission, except the mission time would be a secondary ranking metric.
UPD: I just realized that my suggestion to change the “Time” category is redundant. For my proposed ranking category, I’d make the final score the secondary metric instead of mission time.
It’s just a placeholder. The mission is looped (like the Episodes), so it could very well count the time for the first loop. But it’s too early to know for sure yet.
Well, (unlike the Episodes) your starting weapon is forced-changed in the DLC to whatever weapon was used in the original episode. Should this be changed? Unsure.
The official release is very close now, and to (hopefully) catch any last-minute problems, I am providing advance preview builds of the stand-alone and Android versions of the game.
Before you install them, however, read through the following notes:
These are the final builds (exactly the same as will eventually become public), however until the new version is officially released, they will still connect to the BETA server. This means that any progress you make using these versions will eventually be lost.
They will overwrite any existing previous version installation you have.
If you install them but then wish to go back to playing ‘officially’, you must re-install the previous version on top.
