Suggestion: Since this is Halloween, why not make CI5 Theme (A Pollo 13) the default theme for the time being? Yes, it will replace CIU (Intense) and CIU (Ambient).
I mean, it’s halloween, so why not sync the music?
About my RAM, random results are shown. Sometimes its 190+ MB, sometimes its less than 100 MB. But overall, most of the time it was less than 100 MB.

From what I found, when the RAM reached the pick of 1.1GB in the main menu and I was trying to switch the graphic settings (either switch to borderless or fullscreen), the RAM dropped back to the normal rate instantly (150-350MB). I don’t think that setting is not the reason. It kind of looks like it needs “refresh” to calm down the memory leak (only works if the memory leak stops).
“Randomize paintjob” will randomize color and texture etc… for you. However, this feature doesn’t randomize a few things:

Except spaceship’s name, do you allow these thing i listed above not to be randomized by “randomize paintjob”?
And… it’s greatful for us to have a button for “Paint screen” that revert our spaceship back to the previous paintjobs (maybe 1-2 previous paintjobs that the player made before). This is just in case someone is regreted and they want to get back the old paintjob.

Simple thing: Instead of leaving those button in the black like that, why didn’t you hide those buttons? (you can do this with some competitive missions)

I mean, why? Player can even spam them infinity times, while the main purpose of a tutorial mission is guiding the new player how to play the game (CIU) exactly.

It’s not like everyone will follow the instructions, so you cannot really force them to do 100% exactly like what the game tells you to do.
For a complete fresh new recruit, they will follow the instructions completely (instincts and common). But for the veterans who joins after played original episodes, they know how the game works already (booster is an exception).

To be fair CIU always had weird RAM usage reportings. At least in my case. Do you remember?
In that post I was also getting 800+MB in the galaxy. Something has changed in the meantime… could it be that newer GPU drivers account for memory differently? ![]()

If you switch to/from fullscreen, then during the switch all texture memory is released, and the engine behaviour is to only re-load them on-demand (regardless of loadMode setting).
You also have an integrated GPU, I presume?

I’m aware, but I can’t do anything about it easily. Scrollable regions crop their contents tightly.
