But seriously it’s understandable that this gets asked. It’s the longest period without a new chicken invaders game. Probably even if we account the actual CIU release.

if we count CIU going out of early access then it hasnt been even two years, most of the time there have been 4 years between new entries

Yeah, my bad. I took the Steam release date instead of early access end.
but to be fair CIU didn’t change much in that time
so:
CI1 -(3 years)-> CI2 -(4 years)-> CI3 christmas -(4 years)-> CI4 -(4 years)-> CI5 -(4 years)-> CIU EA -(4 years)-> CIU full release (2 years now)
