What's the damn point of earning keys? (CONFUSION?)

There is the tip that few knows that… well, I should’ve think about it.

If you sell more than 10000 foods, you’ll earn like, 720 keys or more. That’s not the thing that “doesn’t” make sense.

The point is, Ugh, I’m not going to talk about selling foods for keys.

If you played Retro Invaders, high difficulty, 19 waves for longer. You’ll get even more keys.

“Even more keys”? YOU MEAN EARN MORE THAN 120 KEYS PER MISSION?

Once you’ve figured out a play level and play style, you don’t need more than a small regular supply for lives, missiles/mines etc, and fuel. I never spend keys now because I have all the shields, starting power levels, and travel speed boosters I need for playing regular missions without any difficulty adjusters, special weapons etc

Can you be more specific about the “issue” you are trying to say here? Judging by the topic’s name, Keys is the most important element in this game since it gets you completed with everything you want.
