So I defeated the Apple Core and it dropped 3 satellites. That isn’t supposed to happen.
It drops satellites if there’s at least one barrier left when it explodes.

It’s one of the ‘hidden’ stuff from CI4. Same way than Mother-Hen Ship will drop satellites if you take the whole shell out of it, or Alien Mothership drops one if you remove the last rows in ‘pecking order’ fashion.
