Ran today the easy event with no equipment but satellites equipped (forgot) but despite the mission not allowing them and automatically unequipps them in mission i still didnt get the unpreparedness medal.

then it’s your fault.
Unpre = No equipments ( including No Satellites equipped in the first time)
