This is a tier list of all weapons in 2025, as of right now. I’m a returning veteran, and thought I’d give everyone my views on each and every weapon!
S-Tier
Laser Cannon - This is a good overall weapon, it has some versatility and can be used in almost any wave. It also has the 2nd highest DPS values in the game, at 31250 using boosters.
Boron Railgun - On paper, this weapon may seem like it overheats when firing and is almost useless on lower power levels, but with the Accumulator booster, this weapon can end bosses within seconds, as well as having the highest DPS in the game. This makes this one of the best weapons for Boss Rush missions.
A-Tier
Positron Stream - A favored weapon by the community, with its high DPS and firerate, as well as decent AoE versatility. On bosses, the DPS of this weapon is phenomenal, but the only problem with this weapon is that it overheats fairly quickly, and some enemies are strong against the Special weapon group, which the Positron Stream resides in.
Corn Shotgun - This is a versatile spread weapon, but can also be used with a good range of all-around versatility. It has high damage output, and has almost no weakness, as well as being able to fire even when overheated. It’s just not good at lower power levels, and the full DPS is only effective on large bosses or with a converging mountable that reduces the weapon’s spread.
Vulcan Chaingun - A very versatile machinegun weapon, with high damage output and high DPS, when not overheating. The only reason why this weapon is not any higher is that it rapidly loses accuracy with heat.
Utensil Poker - A very versatile weapon, with it’s spread and straight firing layouts. This weapon also has high focused DPS, which makes this a solid weapon of choice even on low power levels.
Lightning Fryer - One of the best AoE weapons, with its unique electric properties and arcing beams of electricity, this is a solid choice of weapon for groups of chickens and boss rushes, especially with its low overheating rate. The only problem with this weapon, however, is that it isn’t very effective until higher power levels.
B-Tier
Plasma Rifle - This is a very powerful weapon, and even has an AoE cone when locking onto a target for prolonged amounts of time. The biggest problem with this weapon, however, is that it overheats very fast and uses a lot of reactor power.
Ion Blaster - A good all-around weapon, and with surprisingly high DPS on max power. It has good spread and good volley damage as well, so it’s handy for a general use weapon.
Neutron Gun - this is a good weapon itself, and is one of the best in the Episodes series, but has slow projectiles and lower DPS than the Ion Blaster and Utensil Poker. However, you can still make concentrated bursts of neutron green blobs when firing and moving forward to deal bursts of damage to bosses.
Photon Swarm - This weapon has the fastest firerate in-game and can spit out 81.68 projectiles per second, making it versatile for chicken zerg rushes or Feather Field missions. The seeking projectiles further improve this weapon, but the weapon’s overall DPS is still not on-par with the weapons that are higher up on this tier list.
C-Tier
Hypergun - While this weapon is somewhat better than the Boron Railgun and Vulcan Chaingun with its dynamically rotating output vector, this is where the benefits of this weapon end, as the spread isn’t too useful, and the Hypergun has relatively low DPS, as well as overheating a bit faster than some weapons.
D-Tier
Riddler - This weapon has one of the lowest DPS ratings in the game, as well as having terrible accuracy at low power levels. The only benefit of this weapon is that it generates very little heat, and does not use much reactor power. It’s fairly light too.
Absolver Beam - Good damage, piercing through armor and enemies, and clearing projectiles. At what cost? Everything else. This weapon heats up fast, also uses a lot of reactor power, and is almost hard to use on most missions EXCEPT for Squawk Block, which the Absolver Beam is the best weapon for these types of missions.
Moron Tier
Moron Railgun - I think this is fairly obvious.
