Another weapon bringing food inspired name…
What’s up guys! So in this topic I’ll introduce to you another charging weapon, quite like Absolver Beam. This weapon’ll be in Special Group.
Onion Bazooka has minimally faster firing rate in normal shots than Absolver Beam, and it overheats slightly slower too. Its full charge shot produce a little less heat, yet the damage is much lower than that of AB. Here’s its projectile:
(Yeah, an upside down onion).
This weapon has 5 levels of charge similar to AB. The small pieces of onion cut are only spawned after the Strong and Full charge. However, the explosion damage happen in all level of charge except the Starter level.
The full charge shot and the explosion can vaporize nearly all of enemies bullets. With small bullets like eggs, neutrons, … , the full shot can go through them. It will explode if it touches enemies themselves or some of the big projectiles like the Sun Ball of The Henterprise. (Both of the shot and the Sun Ball will explode and disappear after the impact).
When shooting continuously, the player can fire maximum 3 starter level shots. That means there’ll be a small delay between each three shots, like the image below. (Kinda like Mega Man’s Mega Buster).
The starter level shot will not deal explosion damage.
Here’s how the full charge shot looks like:
As I said above, the shot will explode if it touches enemies or obstacles. The explosion not only deals damage depending on the power of the charged shot, but it can also knock enemies back with a medium force.
Inside the explosion after the full charge, there’ll be 10 pieces of onion cut which will spread out in random directions.
