What’s up guys! Meowinus here, so in this topic I’ll introduce to you a quite strange weapon concept, which belongs to Electric Group. This is Skewer Hookshot.
Getting equipped with this weapon allows player to destroy enemies with a retractable electric chain. Both the tip and the body segment of the chain can deal damage; the chain itself can pierce through enemies and obstacles.
The chain will start with light blue color; its length is about half of the screen. It’ll get more pinkish and longer as the power level rises. At maximum power, its length can extend out of the screen in 100% zoomed waves, and only in these waves. That means the length will still be limited in some other (heavily) zoomed-out waves, which can act as a disadvantage.
Here’s how the chain deals damage. Suppose that the Egg Barrier is infinitely strong.
Moreover, this weapon has another special mechanism. The chickens which you successfully killed will 100% drop Roast. However, the food won’t immediately fall down, instead they’ll be attached to the tip of the chain and pulled back to the player’s spacecraft.
The food will then be kept by the weapon. If you press shoot button, it’ll release the food that travel quickly forward or to the side. These food can also deal damage to enemies, after that they’ll fall down as a normal collectible item.
Note: This weapon can only hold maximum 5 roast food items.
And here’s the gift. It brings exactly the color when the weapon reaches maximum power level.
