Wave Idea #29: [🎸🎹] Guitar vs Piano

Intensification.


Hi guys! Welcome back to another long topic with my new wave concept. This wave will be zoomed out and it will be encountered at 50% difficulty and above.


At the beginning of this wave, there will be two danger zones at both left and right sides of the screen, then two structures of indestructible barriers will emerge from both sides like this with ten anomaly zones.

This wave will be separated in 3 subwaves (The second and the third one happen respectively from 33% and 67%). Enemies will show up from both left and right sides, they’ll travel straight to the opposite side.


In the first subwave, enemies will appear from the left side (the guitar side). They’ll move in the formation of uneven/asymmetrical zigzag.

Each sub-line of the zigzag will have maximum 4 chickens.

In the second subwave (after 33% of the progress bar), enemies will show up from the right side (the piano side), and they’ll form straight lines while moving.

Note: The spawning frequency in two first subwaves is extremely high. Also it’s not necessary for the guitar side ambush to always be the first subwave. It can switch itself to be the second, let the piano side ambush be the first.

After you pass 67% of the wave progress (final subwave), enemies will show up from both sides, but the spawning frequency of each side is moderately lower than two first subwaves.

Yeah! Some adjustment might be needed to make the wave much more easier to handle for each difficulty if this’s able to be in the game, but it need to be tough and a little bit tricky like Morning Rush Hour.
