- Hey I need your help! This seems offtopic but listen! So I tried to get CI1 original working on Windows NT 4.0 . I got the latest service pack , 1gb ram , 1 core cpu , 16mb of video memory & vbox guest additions but when I tried to launch it well it gave me an error. I tried multiple ways to fix it but didn’t work so can someone help?
This is the latest CI1 original version!
DirectX 7.0 (which CI1 uses) is not supported on Windows NT 4.0

You’ll want to try Windows 98, since it supports DirectX 9 as best, or windows 95 if you feel “bare minimum” enough to try.
