1 2 are useless unless you’re fixing CI4 manually.
3 shows all files CIU.dat.hq2x contains.
4 replaces files.
5 extracts files from CIU.dat.hq2x.
10 works the same way as 4 but instead of replacing files it creates CIUMod.

I warned everyone a long time ago that it’s cramped and troublesome to use. That was another reason for me not to publish it.

The file’s location, you just input it there, for example:
C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Chicken Invaders Universe\CIU.dat.hq2x

It’s really not that hard. This stuff is elementary
