This mean you finish steam DLC right?
I think It’s Ready for the next update
is it intended the “NEW!” version doesn’t have logo intro?
And should this new version renamed to “Remastered”?

Episode 2 RE-Remastered.
He still need to publish the DLC on android
ci1 to go
wait, both old and new version of these episodes will be sold when everything is done?
or older ones will be replaced?
the new one are in the launch option in the old one, so no worry
^ in the fact the episodes it will included in the original games for new purchases without additional cost… for free.
@InterAction_studios after the episodes is finally done (with the exception of episode 1) then is it time to add an ability to customize the heat meter gauge adapted from the episodes?
I got the new episodes from the IA Studios website and when I try to export them to CIU it asks for some security code. Where do I get that from?
This is the authorization code given to you at the time of purchase. It’s the same code you used to log in at Protected Downloads | InterAction studios
Oh I understand. Thanks a lot!
Let’s say I bought a DLC from CIU (after v152 of course) and I wanted to export it to the stand alone version or Steam, but those websites don’t have demos for the new episodes so I can’t export them.
Do I have to repurchase the episode?
I could manually issue keys, but it’s complicated (I would need the player’s Steam ID) and there are also some edge case scenarios that I really don’t want to deal with (such as preventing repeated export/import loops from CIU → Episode → CIU → Episode → …), so if you are using Steam, the recommended way is to purchase the Episode separately first, then export to CIU.
I haven’t tested any of the betas due to not owning any of the episodes, but how would CI1 be released, would you put CI1 Remastered into Steam and the DLC with it?
I assume that by “CI1 Remastered” you mean “Episode 1”. “Episode 1” is based on the old 120th Anniversary mission. “CI1 remastered” is a different thing.
Yes, Steam Episode 1 would be released first, together with the capability to export to CIU. The next CIU update would then add the option to purchase the DLC within CIU.
I’m having bad performance issues on the new updates.
I never have before. Even CI2 is lagging, in fact it’s lagging the most. The framerate is very unstable and stutters a lot. I want to play these games on my PC where I am most comfortable, but I am having performance problems like I never have before. My PC specs far exceed the recommended amount and I don’t have any idea what is going wrong.
Also, I think there’s something wrong with the resolution, although I very well could be wrong. On my Steam Deck, I played using the console’s native screen resolution, but there are letterbox bars on the top and bottom. Disabling them stretches the screen. If I am playing on native resolution, shouldn’t the game be filling up the entire screen? Sorry again if I’m wrong.
The game is loading textures in the background for about 10 seconds when it first starts up, so it’s normal to see uneven/slow frame rates during this period. If you just give it some time, does the problem fix itself?
Steam Deck has an aspect ratio of 16:10, but the game is designed for 16:9 , so it’s normal to see letterbox bars.
Given that the episodes throw you right to the tutorial at the first launch, unlike CIU which has the main menu, wouldn’t it be better to load everything before throwing the player to a laggy mission?
