As you know, a new spacecraft showcase was released, but there were some problems and cons:
- Hardpoints are barely visible among the players, even for the ships which equipped them.
- It’s static: No updates for a year, after that a new showcase comes.
- It’s yearly, people have to wait a whole year just to finally see their ships
- The ships aren’t animated
And finally.
- The showcase is forum specific.
Which prevents non-forum users for seeing their ships.
The new features to the showcase are:
- Fleet Leaderboard
- Spacecrafts Library
And the main one!

As you see, this list includes the largest amount of fleet, I see it can be added to the game normally but with a twist!
Now, We have “View Fleet” button, all what it does is that it views that player fleet.

Ships Library
What is this? It just showcases all ships in groups similar to how they’re in the original showcase, think about it like a gallery:
Wait, just like the original showcase but just animated and has zoom features? Not that only, these pages are up to date, also, after clicking on a ship, it will preview the ship details, hardpoints:
Moving on to the showcase event, it’s going to be in a better variation to also include some competition!
Monthly Showcase
One of the first changes is to make the showcase monthly, waiting for a whole year is boring.
For a ship to be in the showcase, there are more strict rules:
- The ship’s owner should use the ship actively in that month.
- The ship should include name + hardpoints.
- The ship should be customized at least once for that month.
I really wanted to make the ships selectable based on how good they are but, how the game knows what’s a good or bad paintjob?
That’s why I used the other 3 rules above. I also thought about making players vote for which ship appear in next showcase and which doesn’t but It looked that the voting system will barely be used in a shooting game..
You can still suggest better rules tho.
Anyway, After the month ends, the ships get showcased but with only 1 page.
For the rewards, I think about 50 keys per showcased ship.
