When a shooting, destroying chicken and when enemy attack at the right of the screen, it has no sound. (Henterprise 3rd phase attack, apple core shooting has no sound effect)
It seems like sound effects are not surrounded.

I had a similar experience too. To be honest, I never really taken it on but you are right. Some sounds seems muffled at the right side of my laptops too.

The reason is your laptop/PC don’t use right channel for some reason. Game uses 3.1 system: left, center and right dynamics. That’s why sometimes on smartphones and laptops you can’t hear right sound channel, because it only uses left as mono.
