RFF is standing for ‘Read For Fun’. Since it’s nearly impossible for new type of astronomical object to be added so this topic is just for display :v.
Hi guys! So today i will try something different. And in this topic is a concept of an astronomical object - Neutron Star.
This object have three environments mixed together that already existed in the game: Hot. Massive, Electric. If it were in CIU galaxy map, neutron star could be one of the smallest objects in the game .-. Despite the size, it’s one of the most extreme celestial objects. Should you fly missions of this star type, your spacecraft will sustain gigantic heat wave bombardment; much slower maneuverability (even slower than that in average missions in normal stars), more frequently lightning strikes compared to other objects with electric environment.
Well, along with three environments above, there’s an additional one I mentioned in the image - Magnetic. As neutron stars are highly magnetically active, their magnetic fields are incredibly powerful and turbulent. In CIU, our spacecrafts will partly affected by their magnetic strength despite staying much farther from them.
In a neutron star’s mission; there will be strong magnetic wave zones occasionally emitted like this.
this is pretty crazy… i’m also a bit geeky and knowledgeable that a neutron star has huge energy and supersonic rotation speed
Getting into its orbit is not easy and you can be vaporized instantly, but if this is possible in the game, I would add that the amount of lightning released would be 4-5 times more than usual and the vision will be covered by a dense layer of light from it
You may or may not know that neutron star has intense radiation too. With the surface temperature surpassing 1 million Kelvin, most neutron stars will emit X-ray, some may even emit gamma ray, which poses an extreme radiation hazard as a result. I just avoided reminding about this because I didn’t know how could these radiation act as disadvantage to players in CIU.
That’s a pretty bright idea. Sometimes the light can get so intense that it blocks players from seeing in some spots like in the darkness mission.
If the object somehow had the chance to be in the game, this would be how player should stay while orbiting this kind of star (yeah, much farther from the surface than other normal star type).
