Names and descriptions below:
Ship Name: Omicron Class Light Fighter (H&C-101)
Description:
Still the flagship of my H&C subfleet, the orange to yellow gradient still exists albeit tweaked with strobe lights, laser scope and a tweak to the wing paintjob. Sadly I do have to now compromise on firepower because of “safety concerns” regarding uncapping firepower on such a small ship.
Ship Name: Psi Class Light Fighter (H&C-201)
Description:
Like the Omicron, the Psi class also got a laser scope and a different wing paintjob, but it also got an extra satellite slot. While the compromise on firepower is still existent, it’s less severe on the Psi. I still love the rose to magenta gradient going on, so that stays the same.
Ship Name: Gamma Class Light Fighter (H&C-301)
Description:
Just like the Omicron and the Psi light fighters, the Gamma class also received a laser scope but a firepower cap as well. The Gamma class also received an extra satellite slot alongside the Psi class. I’m not sure whether the new Gamma class was a downgrade or an upgrade from the original, but well, the paintjob’s pretty much the same.
Ship Name: Rho Class Fighter (M400)
Description:
Unlike the H&C ships, the Mullers still retain their uncapped firepower. Unfortunately the Rho class still has two satellites so now it’s quite the toss up between the Gamma class light fighter and the Rho class fighter. The Rho class also pretty much as the same paintjob from 2121.
Ship Name: Upsilon Class Fighter (M404-Pi)
Description:
Let’s get it over with, all ships got a laser scope, but the Upsilon Class did get a big downgrade as it lost one of its satellite slots. As such, I’m forced to switch to the Delta class fighter as my flagship. Muller Industries, WHY!? Why did you nerf the M404-PI!?
Ship Name: Delta Class Fighter (M408)
Description:
After the unwarranted nerf to the M404’s, the Delta class became my new flagship. The color scheme was overhauled significantly with a red to magenta-purple gradient which I prefer over the original cyan to violet gradient. Seriously tho, why did you nerf M404’s Muller Industries!?
Ship Name: Space Burger Corp Food Collector (M408)
Description:
Another ship which remains practically unchanged from its original design, the Food Collector is still my goto ship for droid raids.
Ship Name: Epsilon Class Bomber (BX-7)
Description:
Unlike Muller Industries, who seems to be anti-consumerist nowadays, Locken Lowd Heavy Industries is really stepping up their game. Their bombers are now much faster and have smaller hitboxes, which really helps them survive in the battlefield.
The Epsilon class received a substantial change to the gradient from magenta to purple, into light red to purple. Another change I think I made for the better.
Ship Name: Theta Class Bomber (BX-7)
Description:
Locken Lowd did make a controversial decision, removing the BX-6! Even now, I miss my twin engine Theta Class, but Locken Lowd was generous enough to offer me a BX-7 with the exact same paintjob, so I guess I forgive them. And it seems they’ve really benefited from trimming their product portfolio. The two BX-7’s did get a minor reduction in firepower capabilities, following the firepower progression of the legacy BX-6
Ship Name: Alpha Class Bomber (BX-8)
Description:
Yet another ship that practically looks the same, simply because of how good the 2121 design was. The orange to red gradient is still aggressive and bold but the firepower situation did change. The Omega class now outclasses the Alpha Class in terms of primary weapon firepower as well since the firepower progression follows that of the legacy BX-7.
Ship Name: Omega Class Bomber (BX-9)
Description:
This ship received a major overhaul to its paintjob, from a periwinkle to deep blue gradient to a mysterious, subdued blue to darkened cyan gradient. The darkened colors make it ancient and mysterious, more befitting of the Omega title. The firepower situation changed for this ship as well, it follows the firepower progression of the legacy BX-8
Ship Name: Emperor Palpatine!! (BX-9)
Description:
Some minor changes to the Paintjob, such as less shine to better mimic Palpy’s robes, along with strobe lights on the pylons to hint its electrifying firepower, and a more prominent ghost trail. There are also some very subtle black paintjob additions.
Ship Name: Lambda Class Advanced Fighter (VF-56)
Description:
The fastest ship in massive environments by a long shot. The Lambda class also has that ridiculous firepower cap but since it has better visibility on darkness missions, it’s not as bad. The Lambda class has a pale yellow to periwinkle gradient.
Ship Name: Zeta Class Advanced FIghter (VF-66)
Description:
Adding onto the darkness and massive resistance along with another satellite slot, the Zeta class is also resistant to Frozen and Hot environmental effects, even if its slower in massive environments and has less primary weapon firepower. The Zeta class has an orange to light magenta gradient which looks surprisingly good.
Ship Name: Sigma Class Advanced FIghter (VF-76)
Description:
If six FLIPPING satellites weren’t cool enough, the Sigma class and by extension, the VF-76’s can straight up TANK lighting strikes!! What more could I ask for?
Well, I could ask for more primary weapon firepower as its ironically the weakest in that aspect among the VF family. Nevertheless, this has become a fast favorite among my fleet and had already become the flagship of the VF fleet. Black Nesa Research, your methods are unorthodox, but they’re fun!
As for the gradient, it’s pink-red to darkened periwinkle, another solid color combo if I say so myself.
Indeed, a much bigger fleet than last time. I do have some extra ships lying around but they’re not as cool as the ships I showcased. I really do gotta commend ya for going this far! The forks are thankful for your patience, and will grant you good luck in your life!
