Possible bug with bombers double damage scoring

If bomber does double damage to bosses then why am i getting score just like i have Muller?
Was that intentional or a bug?

Well, not exactly twice thanks to power splitting mechanic. Also, enemies still have the same amount of health. If you kill boss and get 200’000, you get 200’000 for killing it no matter what weapon or spacecraft you are using.
