No score when Player leaves the lobby

When I play with my friends in Multiplayer, if the player threw a projectile at an enemy or at a boss that gives score to that player and the player who threw the projectile left and the projectile is about to hit the enemies already, the players who are still present in the lobby won’t get their score count added up, This happens only in Multiplayer games, and it is frustrating in boss rushes and Double Team missions when the player who left and got a kill afterwards doesn’t count, neither the players who are still in the lobby nor the player who left get the score.

For example: I am the host and my friend joined me, He launched bird-flu gun at the boss or any other projectile that gives score and He left and the projectile is hitting the boss, when it finally hit the boss, neither the Host or the player who left get the score.

Is this bug intentional? and if not, Is it fixable?

A player’s result is counted when they complete a wave, if not then the mission they’re playing is count as “cancelled”, which means no career results.

This applies to both singleplayer and multiplayer

What if the player lost all his/her lives and the projectile continued until it reached the enemy and the score should count, will it count or not? I’m just confused, will it count the score after the player is defeated?

I’m talking about the single player

Singleplayer: Result will be “DEFEAT”
Multiplayer: Results will be “cancelled”
