New weapon Idea: Heat shotgun

You propably know corn shotgun, right?And u may know It’s prety weak.So I have a suggestion 4 it: New weapon take inspirion from it.

-What is it? It’s a heat shotgun

-And what’s different from other?
It have a new mechanic overheat. It mean the time to overheat to no heat can be reduce in higher firepower

I have 2 suggest about it:
(All have 0.225 firerate)

+Each shot does 90% heat (100% is overheat)
+Shot 8 protective, each does 200 dps
+Heat cooldown: 5s
That mean u can shot 2 time before overheat
1:
+Each shot does 80% heat
+Shot 8 protective
+Heat cooldown: 4.7s
That mean u can shot 2 time before overheat
2:
+Each shot does 75% heat
+Shot 9 protective
+Heat cooldown: 4.7s
That mean u can shot 2 time before overheat

+Each shot does 65% heat
+Shot 9 protective
+Heat cooldown: 4.5s

Me too. Don’t worry you wrote better than some past users

About the concept:

It’s interesting but I don’t know if it will be actually good.

It has so few “ammo” that it would struggle to deal consistent damage in normal waves

It sounds as an Absolver beam 2.0 to me (Good only in few waves and bosses)

Even if bullets got a piercing/aoe mechanic, I see this weapon not a good one unless in really precise scenarios
