So, this is my first topic, hope you enjoy reading it. (sorry for my bad English).
Wave: The Inquisitors
(reference to Star Wars: Rebels)
edit: yes, this is related to this
oh yeh, spinning swords…
“What if the chickens have some kind of swords to attack and defend?”
Wave’s Layout:
Begin the wave, the Grand Inquisitor (can be UFO, mini-boss, or machine, and so on) appears, covered by the bubble with his sword (indestructible barriers) outside. His sword will repeatedly spin and stop until the player kills him. He will move a straight line on the screen and bounce back when touching the screen’s side. Now, he has his soldiers (all chickens except the machines) help him terminate the player, and each soldier also has their sword.
Soldiers’ Attack: When the Grand Inquisitor appears, the soldiers will appear in turn at the side of the screen. The soldier will attack the player like what the “assassin chicks” do (chasing), and also spin his sword until he reaches the player’s location, then he stops spinning for about 0.5s - 1s (depending on the difficulty), after that he will spin the sword backwards while escaping the screen.
The time the soldier stops spinning his sword is the chance for the player to kill him; the small gap between barriers helps the player kill him more easily. Only when the player kills all 35 soldiers (or they all escape) does The Grand’s bubble blow, but his sword remains; only now can the player kill him (or they can use Beam to kill him first).
