New Items: Gameplay Modes

Hi,

Today’s topic is about new thing, Gameplay Modes.

What do they do? Hmmm… Obviously they change how the game is played, for example, returning the old 1 Million score = Extra Life.

However we’ll only talk about 2 modes. Here’s how it would look like in mission config:

Now let’s get into them! The modes are:

  • Classic
  • Practice

What are they? We’ll know soon.

Classic

All what this mode does is returning the Episodes system for lives, special weapons. The mode is that when you get around 1 Million score (or more depending on the skill from episodes) you get an extra lif or when you get around 50 food units, you get a special weapon.

However the special weapons will be chosen randomly.
So it can be a missile and then clucker bombs.

Practice

This mode is a bit different, the main feature is that you can choose the “chapters”/waves of a mission before starting and even allows ghost player like how it’s in multiplayer.

But of course, the score/keys/food of the mission won’t be count. Not even marking the mission as completed.

Conclusion

I know there aren’t that much of pictures to say about the modes and the topic is short but that’s all I got for it…
