My new weapon idea

Some of you guys might heard about EMRG aka Electromagnetic Railgun, which is used in military. At first I was gonna name the weapon like that, but it may not work the same as Boron Railgun we currently have, so I take this name instead:

The Electromagnetic Raillaser (EMRL)

A powerful straight beam packed with ultra electric power that shocks you to ashes

(You can decide what weapon gift it should be)

• Support boosters(Overdrive/Accumlator): Yes
• Penetrate multiple enemies: Yes
• Continuous fire via holding: Yes
• Infinite range: Yes
• Clear projectiles: No
• Hit count without boosters: 15 times/sec, with boosters: 30 times/sec
• Overheat protocol (using Cubic Boron Arenside Heat Sink, legendary rarity): 15 seconds (reduced by half with Overdrive)
• Weapon has no effect when using Bullet Spray Expander/Condenser

Very cool concept, we’ve always needed a new piercing weapon. However, boosters only boost the weapon firerate by 50%, NOT 100%, which is how it works for every weapon. Also, to make the DPS on par with other weapons, I think the firerate should be something like this.

The weapon will have a firerate of 20 rounds per second, and boosters will boost to 30 rounds/sec.

At max power, the weapon’s damage should be around the thousands, so that the DPS is at least 20,000, and 30,000 with boosters.

Here’s a suggested weapon damage by power level in order from 0 to 20.
75, 110, 187, 225, 312, 375, 450, 575, 700, 825, 950, 1000 or higher on max power.
