The mechanic is intended for bombers, due to the fact that (I) They’re heavy and (II) They have double fire-power. If you do want to make them faster, buy some Maneuvering Jets, your speed will increase, but not instant. And for the slower speed on Massive-type objects, well, it’s a mechanic
