Lamps of various light effects can be bought in stores to make darkness missions easier.
Variants of them also make frost, heat, and gravity missions easier (windwiper/spray/heat manager, etc)

Don’t we have the VF ship family for this exact reason? Also, I don’t find the environment missions tough enough to warrant buyables…

But since the VF family has very limited power and most players uses M family, it can make quite a difference in cold and dark environments (like increasing your idling visible radius by a bit especially for new players)
