There is no notification when you collect the key. Could you please do something like this?
That isn’t really needed since it already shows collected amount in the hud.

Uhm Doesn’t he shows the amount of keys we collect in the bottom left corner? also for smaller ideas like that prefer early access topic.

we have a key count in chicken invaders universe at the bottom left corner
unless you just want 2 key counters

A second key counter is useless and for having a notification like this won’t help because it disappears unlike the counter in the Hud which remains from the start to the end.

Well, maybe IA could make it so that the key counter in the picture below glows every time the player picks up a key during a mission?
