How did you come to know about the Chicken Invaders Franchise?

Through my life I’ve had quite a few encounters with the series, enough for it to remain within my mind.

I’ve encountered Chicken Invaders 2 at a couple of friends’s houses and at an relative of mine.

I have encountered Chicken Invaders 3 at a family friend.
And I have encountered Chicken Invaders 4 at a my cousin, where I played the heck out of it.

Before Chicken Invaders 5 I already had my own PC and the series has already became a series I was well acquainted with, becoming one of the series I cheered on and was hyped for.
I was regularly checking if Chicken Invaders 5 had released so that I could see the continuation of it, which I did.

At some point later I looked if there are any news of a Chicken Invaders game, and before it was Chicken Invaders Universe, it was speculated to be Chicken Invaders 6 on the wiki, and I was extremely hyped for it.
When it changed to be Chicken Invaders Universe as a MMO spin-off, I was a bit pissed off actually, and I distinctively remember this, I was pissed off enough to leave a comment on the wiki, the comment was the following:
“Mihaita70: Oof, I wanted CI6 not some MMO spin-off, good job iA”
Now, at that moment I might have been pissed off, but that’s because I was a big fan of the story and it’s quirky and funny moments and cutscenes, and I were thinking an MMO wouldn’t offer something like that.
Still, now that it was reworked to CIU, I’m glad, because if it wasn’t, we wouldn’t have all been here, a community which, even though it has it’s crazy moments, a community I’m glad to be part of.

You could call them ‘Fortunate Encounters’.

Note: I managed to find my old comment, I nearly remembered it word for word.

Its always the distant relatives who give us this game. We should honor them.

MMO is better imo
